El gordo alberto movie didrip latino, the latest film of the producer Félix Larrañeta, has been released in Spanish cinemas. This is not a new production by any means: it's based on the play that premiered in France in 1990 and then crossed borders and oceans to reach Europe and Latin America. The highlight? The film features a cast consisting exclusively of people over 60 years old: It features an ensemble cast of actors aged 60 and above, who play various characters from all walks of life. We find Almodóvar regulars such as Carmen Maura or Fernando Fernán Gómez, as well as supporting actors such as Vilma Espinosa and Ana María Matute. The film is not an outright comedy as it contains a number of serious moments and the Spanish title is misleading: "El Gordo Alberto" ("The Fat Albert") refers to an overweight but very happy man. Comments from the director himself are that this film is his most personal work to date, dealing with male identity issues. Félix Larrañeta was looking for actors to star in this film since the mid-1990s, when he first saw the play. He called José Sacristán, with whom he had already worked to make three films, but none of them has ever starred in a film whose main character was 70 years old. The director went "through very long lists in order to find people who were over sixty. It took ten years in total... The age of the cast gives the film a lot of credibility". The film was made at La Cartuja's Film Studios in Seville, Spain. http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film278010. html http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0787115/ http://www.boxofficemojo.com/search/?keyword=El+gordo+alberto+2006.htm El Gordo Alberto 2006 Willard on IMDb El gordo alberto movie didrip latino The producer Félix Larrañeta has signed an agreement with the producers of the production company Cinépolis to make a sequel with the original cast and to continue filming in Spain and Latin America, for an anticipated release date of 2012.
